Canadian air traffic controllers are sending pizza to American controllers affected by the shutdown

 ♡ By now we’ve all heard that the governments been shutdown for a couple weeks and many workers are affected. Well here comes some Canadians ready to lend a helping hand 🤚Everyone does say that Canadians are kind! 🥰So Canadian air traffic controllers have decided to send pizza to the American controllers since they’re working with no pay. A control center in Edmonton, Alberta had the idea to send it to their counterparts in Anchorage Alaska. Now other units are doing the same. Over 350 pizzas have been sent since Thursday to 49 FAA units across the US. It doesn’t look like that will be stopping anytime soon.

President of the Canadian Traffic Control Association, Peter Duffey, told CNN "In the big scheme of things, sending some pizzas to people that are missing paychecks is a small gesture," Duffey said, "but the message that it sends them is a big gesture." sources:
