Amna is from the UAE, a region where women are discouraged from coming athletes, but that didn’t stop her. Nike brought her to their training lab to see how they can help improve her performance. Amna wanted a hijab that would stay in place and not make her sweat as  much. She also shared an idea that Nike loved.

“when we sat down to talk about the challenges of sportswear in my field, I brought up the idea of a sports hijab and how it could help Muslim athletes around the world.”

The Nike Pro Hijab will go on sale this spring.
