Home Depot Employee Gives Back To Mother and Son
Due to complications with her insurance, Brittney could not take her 3-year-old son Oliver to physical therapy as often. Oliver has a condition known as Spins Bifida, which is a birth defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord do not form properly.
So Brittney decided to purchase parallel bars for home therapy use. Her and Oliver to go down to Home Depot to purchase the bars and meet associate Joe. After talking with him for a little bit, he tells them he will build the bars for free and Home Depot will pay for the materials. Brittney was so pleasantly surprised.
"It hits the heart, it was really a surprise. We went in there not expecting anything like that."
